In Shakespeare in Spring!, children will engage with Shakespeare as we deeply explore one of his plays to fully understand the story and language through scene work, group text, movement and fun theater exercises. We will play with Shakespeare’s vivid characters, providing the children with an opportunity to step into another’s shoes and practice empathy. Through their exploration of improvisation, theater games & exercises, the children will grow as learners and performers of Theater and develop an appreciation of the Dramatic Arts. On our final Saturday, we’ll invite parents to join us for an informal viewing of the adaptation we’ll develop of the Shakespeare play we’ve chosen to explore.
